Who we are

Founded in 2015, Verdant is an independent, family-run online garden retailer based in the Cotswolds.

We’re passionate about sustainable, accessible gardening. Our goal is to combine quality products, fair prices and straightforward service so that gardening feels uplifting, purposeful and kind to the environment.

Our curated range includes tools, supplies and accessories from trusted names such as Burgon & Ball, Empathy, Esschert Design, Hotbin, Ivyline, Maze and Wildlife World. We select every product for its quality, performance and environmental integrity — because we only sell what we’d happily use ourselves.

Sustainability in practice

Sustainability isn’t a trend for us; it’s how we grow. We use biodegradable packaging, partner with carbon-neutral couriers and support UK-based reforestation projects.

Since 2023, we’ve worked with Ecologi, a certified B Corporation, to contribute 1% of every sale toward tree planting across the UK.

We’re always learning and improving, exploring better materials, smarter sourcing and new ways to help our customers garden with a lighter footprint.
